Explore the boutique country town of Bowral, the very heart and soul of the the Southern Highlands and home to the Don Bradman Museum. Bowral was an early hub for the sheep and cattle pastoralists of the 19th Century, and today you can explore its many delightful antique and boutique shops and enjoy the atmosphere of this lovely country town. Relax with morning tea (own expense) at one of the many cafes which line the streets.
We make our way to Fitzroy Falls National Park, and stroll the short track to the very top of these impressive falls. Take that perfect photo as you look out over the lush rainforest. Keep an eye out for some of the colourful parrots of the area, and be sure to take a deep breath of that fresh bush air.
Step back in time on a visit the 1830s Georgian village of Berrima. Wander along its only street to admire the beautifully restored sandstone architecture. Browse the specialty shops selling local arts and crafts, and taste some of the local produce. Unwind as you sip on a beverage at the oldest continually licensed hotel in Australia, Stop here for a pub lunch or choose one of the delightful cafes which are scattered throughout the town.
